Accounting and project management professional with over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Lisa brings a high level of integrity and values to project^ with focused attention on building relationships across organizational teams and external partners.
At project^, Lisa oversees all accounting functions in support of internal operations, development projects and affiliated real estate holdings. She works closely with the project^ team to provide accurate and timely financial information to best serve our clients and investment partners.
Prior to joining project^, Lisa served as a Project Manager for Shiels Obletz Johnsen, Inc., where she was involved in all aspects of development from initial design through construction and occupancy. Lisa collaborated on many of the firm’s high profile, mixed-use, commercial and transportation projects and specialized in small scale rehabilitations and tenant improvements. While at SOJ, she also fulfilled the role of Comptroller for Portland Streetcar, Inc. managing all accounting and financial management responsibilities for the non-profit entity during a period of major expansion of transit service and ridership.
Lisa began her career with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, quickly advancing from an Accountant in the Superfund program to a Program Analyst in the Office of the Comptroller in Washington, DC. At EPA, Lisa honed her skills in collaboration, negotiation, and communication across of levels of an organization. She has also held positions with the City of Gresham, Oregon and a Portland based creative studio, further diversifying her experiences.
As an active community volunteer, Lisa has worked with several environmental, educational and social service organizations. Throughout her career, Lisa has followed her passion for the outdoors and commitment to making the places we live, work, and play more sustainable and accessible.
