Driven by her passion for sustainability and quality urban design, Delia approaches development with curiosity and creativity.
Delia is involved with the development of both large-scale mixed-use projects and smaller scale apartment and office buildings. She contributes to all aspects of project development, including acquisition and due diligence of prospective sites, design development, proforma budgeting, graphics, and market research.
Before joining project^, Delia served as a planner with the City of Portland Bureau of Development Services where she worked on design and historic resource reviews. At the City, she gained insight into the design, development and entitlement processes. Prior to this, Delia was a Climate Fellow with the City of Santa Monica Office of Sustainability and the Environment. There she worked on developing the City’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan, which set a goal for carbon neutrality by 2050. She worked with industry leaders across Southern California to develop policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across all sectors including energy, water, and green building. Delia utilizes her local government experience to analyze and interpret municipal code and foster public/private partnerships.
Throughout her time at Scripps College, Delia was involved with internship and volunteer programs surrounding climate activism, food justice, and fair chance hiring.
